Nordic Image
Stretched the lonely forlorn road
Ways entangled within woods
Ancient cold and frostbite lingers
Somewhere calls a sprite forgotten
Lights that green along a sky
So vast the heart must feeble keen
Nowhere ice like this remains
Such isolated bliss unseen
Tales and pagan ways are smitten
Forces of the otherworld
The myriads and dazzling beings
Still entice by stagnant pools.

The Garden
Restricted to the garden
We willingly remain.
Our love is pure and ardent,
From evil we refrain.
Evicted from the garden
We sought to find a way.
Our souls must even harden
Or we would go astray.
We gathered flowers in the rain,
Dreamt up loving things to say
That would soothe our mortal pain,
And return us to our play.
In the sky appeared an eye,
Smiled down upon our lives.
And whenever we would cry,
Remember something pure survives.
As love hurt and Spring returned
We lived the lessons life had learned.
Restricted to the garden
We willingly remain.
Our love is pure and ardent,
From evil we refrain.
Evicted from the garden
We sought to find a way.
Our souls must even harden
Or we would go astray.
We gathered flowers in the rain,
Dreamt up loving things to say
That would soothe our mortal pain,
And return us to our play.
In the sky appeared an eye,
Smiled down upon our lives.
And whenever we would cry,
Remember something pure survives.
As love hurt and Spring returned
We lived the lessons life had learned.

Dream Song
You made the world appear a dream,
In which the word was love.
We rode upon a starlit beam
Towards the moon above.
We played within the tranquil sea;
A shallowness of wonder.
We blessed our serendipity
Of meeting somewhere yonder.
This night was fashioned from the past;
All mixed up old emotions.
Our fine escape could never last,
We’d feed on higher notions.
I brought you with me, to my heart
Where we would never be apart.
You made the world appear a dream,
In which the word was love.
We rode upon a starlit beam
Towards the moon above.
We played within the tranquil sea;
A shallowness of wonder.
We blessed our serendipity
Of meeting somewhere yonder.
This night was fashioned from the past;
All mixed up old emotions.
Our fine escape could never last,
We’d feed on higher notions.
I brought you with me, to my heart
Where we would never be apart.

Ode to a Lady
My lady is a timid rose,
So sweet and strong and free.
She offers me sublime repose;
Returns my soul to me.
A fragrance that denotes so much
Softly comes my way.
She never uses words as such,
We sense; no need to say -
- to what degree we are entangled,
Vines along one stem.
Once held notions have been angled,
We vow to not condemn.
Her garden is my sphere of love,
A refuge from all gloom.
Scarlet petals rain from above
And kiss my former doom.
My lady is a timid rose,
So sweet and strong and free.
She offers me sublime repose;
Returns my soul to me.
A fragrance that denotes so much
Softly comes my way.
She never uses words as such,
We sense; no need to say -
- to what degree we are entangled,
Vines along one stem.
Once held notions have been angled,
We vow to not condemn.
Her garden is my sphere of love,
A refuge from all gloom.
Scarlet petals rain from above
And kiss my former doom.
Serenade
I gaze upon thine inner face;
A world of love-bound glee.
I tremble as my steps retrace
And fingers touch thy knee.
Thy treasures are a myriad
Of pleasures quite astounding.
Our labyrinthal Illiad
With lust and love abounding.
We approach each other quietly,
The night shades us from harm.
I caress thy tresses piously
And raise thy soft alarm.
Those lips were soaked in honey-wine,
Mellow fingers linger long.
Kisses placed; a coded sign,
My buoyancy grows strong.
Invited to thy warmest embrace
We shiver a quiver divine.
Our rhythms quicken, then retrace
And glide along the spine.
Thoughts collide, turn inside out,
Worlds stretch while stars ignite.
Our bodies prove to be devout,
Exchanging liquid pearls of light.
Later, as the twilight groans,
We willingly surrender.
I watch her as her dreaming moans,
Vow always to defend her.
I gaze upon thine inner face;
A world of love-bound glee.
I tremble as my steps retrace
And fingers touch thy knee.
Thy treasures are a myriad
Of pleasures quite astounding.
Our labyrinthal Illiad
With lust and love abounding.

Clarity's Charm
Love; that highest star ignited,
Coveted prize and jewel unblemished.
Rest my heart now it be requited
And fill my soul too long cold and famished.
Hope; the strength to look beyond
The truth of all things silence-bound.
As ever the mortal remains as fond
Of what endures and has been found.
Faith; the Voice that guides me near,
Leads away from hurt and lies.
Relinquishes my smouldering fear,
Smiles at Pride who still defies.
Lessons are learned at the cost of mistakes,
Love lends a hand when my will power breaks.
